Event Short Description

Trevor Creighton, archaeologist, talks about use of DNA to track the movement of people to Britain.

Event Information

Trevor Creighton will discuss how DNA has been used to chart the movement of people to Britain esp. over the last 8,000 years, and how it has influenced who we are today. The DNA evidence challenges traditional migration narratives and reveals the complex relationships between different groups of people in the past, particularly in southern Britain.
