Our wonderful traditional annual Summer Fair, back with all the old favourites and some new ones too. This year the gates will open earlier and we are asking for a donation on entry to speed up admission. We are starting earlier and in addition to the usual tea and cakes and Pimms, we will be serving locally supplied burgers and sausages when we open. So arrive early if you fancy something hot to eat! All the usual stalls will be back with great opportunities to buy fruit and veg, plants for the garden, preserves and jams, cakes and baked goods as well as good quality children’s toys and games. We’ll also be running lots of games including a coconut shy, Splat the Rat, horseshoe throwing, the catapult and crockery smashing. New this year we will be having an inflatable helter skelter, suitable for adults and children alike. Local musicians and children’s dancing. Free parking on site. Dogs welcome on short leads. If you love Slindon but don’t live here, this is the next best thing!
