Guilfest returns to Guildford this summer

Since its inception in 1992, Guildford’s festival, Guilfest is back after 8 long years. Guilfest returns this Summer, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July on the grounds of Hurtwood Park Polo Club.

A heritage event in its own right, Guilfest will be celebrating 22 years of putting on the cultural highlight of Guildford’s calendar. Known for it’s family-friendly line-ups boasting some of the biggest names in music – Blondie, Madness, Motorhead, Tim Minchen, Kool & The Gang over the decades.

The festival will have Sister Sledge coming over from the US to headline Saturday’s performances on the main stage, as well as Peter Hook & The Light (New Order and Joy Division) topping the bill on Sunday night after some sets from Dodgy, The Wurzels, Republica, Bez, Johnny Moped, Old Time Sailors and more.

In addition to the 3 separate stages of music, they’ll have their beer tent, cocktail bars, some of the finest street food, a traders and craft village, Studio 54 disco, their comedy tent with headliners Simon Brodkin and Paul McCaffrey, wellness and yoga area, games tent and more to be announced. guilfest.co.uk
