Walk 2 B CancerWise

Following a very successful event last year Chichester based cancer support charity CancerWise are delighted to have once again teamed up with Pied a Terry Adventures to bring you Walk 2 B CancerWise 2019!

This year the event is being held on Saturday 28th September it will be a fantastic 15k walk taking in the beautiful picturesque scenery of the South Downs countryside, starting and finishing at Whiteways, Bury Hill, Arundel.

We are also very grateful to have David O’Jones Sportswear & Apparel in Littlehampton & The Co-op who are our two sponsors working with us to help make the event an even bigger success!

CancerWise rely on the support  of the local community.  Fundraising events like Walk 2 B CancerWise are vitally important so we can continue our work supporting people and their families who are affected by cancer within the West Sussex and South East Hampshire areas.  CancerWise provides many services, offering practical, emotional and social support to help people through diagnosis, treatment and beyond.  For more information about the work we do please visit our website www.cancerwise.org.uk or see our Facebook page.

Fundraising manager Emma Neno said ‘We are really looking forward to our 2nd Walk 2 B CancerWise.  Come rain or shine it will be a fun, exhilarating challenge in our beautiful Sussex countryside.  Last year the team spirit was fantastic and everyone had a fantastic day.’

Registration for Walk 2 B CancerWise is £31 for adults and £11 for children, well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome! We also have an early bird price if booked before March 31st – £26 for adults and £6 for children.

We ask participants to try their best to raise a target minimum sponsorship amount of £50 per adult for CancerWise, we can provide a template for a paper sponsorship form or why not set up a Just Giving page to make it easier!
