The Big Gig Horsham music event

Now in its 5th year, The Big Gig is taking place at Horsham Sports Club on Saturday 18th June from 13.00 through to 22.30.

Horsham’s family music event is set to herald tribute bands, family entertainment and an array of street food and beverages for the upbeat festival experience. And, with its very own mix of Horsham’s own bands taking centre stage, the new line-up has something for everyone.

Performers and food at The Big Gig

Kicking off The Big Gig at 1.30pm is Mused, the ultimate Muse tribute act. Authentic and with a Muse attitude, favourite tracks and vibes will help get the party started. Following this will be Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes, Horsham’s seven-piece band, delivering funk, soul, punk, rock and some cheesy music.

The singer songwriter Jimmy Harvey, will be bringing his unique set of Folk, Blues, Jazz, and Pop and Almost Elvis will be performing a tribute to Elvis Presley.

As the afternoon progresses, headlining this extravaganza is the Spice Girls tribute act, the Spicey Girls. In addition, 24K Bruno Mars and his backing dancers will perform songs like Uptown Funk, Marry You and The Lazy Song.

The Saturday night party will also feature ‘Saturday Night Fever’ from The Bootleg Bee Gees. With the disco vibe pumping festival goers can dance Travolta style.

Festivals would not be complete without food and refreshments. Some favourites will be set to tempt taste buds with Pizza, Hotdogs, Thai, Doughnuts, Tacos and Tapas to name but a few, along with a vast array of specialist drinks tents and a fully licensed bar.

Community event sponsors and tickets

The Horsham community orientated event is sponsored by At Home Estates, Horsham’s estate agent and letting agency, as well as Hey!Broadband who provide Full Fibre directly to homes, with support from XA Digital, one of Sussex’s digital agencies.

This fundraising event also supports St Catherine’s Hospice and Chestnut Tree House in addition to providing funds for improved facilities at Horsham Sports Club for the benefit of the entire community. This is a family day and festival goers can bring a picnic, soft drinks and set up a space or gazebo with friends and family to chill back and relax in comfort.
