Surfers Against Sewage water quality protest

On Saturday 23rd April at 1PM on the Worthing Seafront (opposite Windsor Road), Surfers Against Sewage and friends lead the protest against Southern Water. Local water groups are joining forces for a National Day of Action on water quality.

11 protests are taking place across the UK demanding action from water companies. Industries and governments must put their words into action and deliver on their commitments to tackle sewage pollution, and it’s up to people and communities to put the pressure on.

Guests and entertainment at the protest

Others attending the event include music from Beans on Toast, entertainment from comedy writer Lorelei Mathias, talks from Green Party peer Baroness Jenny Jones, Hugo Tagholm (CEO of Surfers Against Sewage) and the Mayor of Worthing – with more to be announced.
