Regency Radio Brighton welcomes ex Heart FM DJ

Regency Radio Brighton is pleased to announce that Lynsey Bartlett, ex Heart FM breakfast DJ is joining the team with a new Saturday breakfast show from 7am-10am which started on Saturday 16th of April, with a revamp of the schedule which launched on Monday 18th of April.

That takes the number of presenters to 15 having started with just 3 when the station was first created during the lockdown and being officially launched at the end of May 2021 on DAB+, Smart Speakers, Regency Radio Mobile App and online.

Lynsey Bartlett said “My obsession with radio started early; as a kid I would squirrel myself away with my top-loading cassette recorder and make pretend shows for hours on end. But dreams can come true, and I have been lucky enough to work in this crazy industry most of my adult life.

“I have lived in Brighton and Hove for more than two decades and to be on air in this amazing city is a real privilege. To call this awesome place so full of diverse, vibrant people my home is wonderful. I am delighted to be joining this great team of Presenters on Regency Radio who have created the station that everyone in the city is talking about”.

Regency Radio as an advert free nonstop music station

Regency Radio is the 1st Advert free Nonstop music station in the UK and has already achieved amazing audience figures in a short period of time, outperforming its more established competitors in Brighton & Hove with 59,000 listeners in the 16 to 60 age group from its potential audience of 300,000 listeners on DAB.

With its success the station has been offered the chance to get on the Sussex Multiplex to cover all of Sussex on DAB plus parts of Kent, Hampshire and Surrey that will increase its potential audience from 300,000 to 1.7 million listeners, so are looking for investors to help Regency achieve that goal soon.
