Annual Wildlife and Countryside Survey 2022 from Sussex Wildlife Trust

Wildlife and Countryside Survey

Wildlife and Countryside Survey

Sussex Wildlife Trust’s annual Wildlife and Countryside Survey is an important way of helping them learn more about the wildlife issues that mean the most to the people of Sussex.

Every year, thousands of people respond to their survey. Last year, answers to one question showed that 97% of respondents were concerned about litter and plastic pollution. As a result, their Wild Coast Sussex project is now taking direct action to remove plastic from local seas.

Wild places are needed more than ever before

We live in a beautiful county; with the High Weald and the South Downs plus miles of coastline. But it is clear that nature is in trouble. Developments and pollution are destroying wildlife habitats, and climate change threatens to disrupt the natural systems on which nature and people depend.

Help the Wildlife Trust to protect the wildlife in the county by sparing a few minutes to take part in their 2022 survey and sharing your views.
