Sun, sea, sand….new friends. Not all foreign trips can deliver on all of these but for members of a Sussex club, it was a “yes” for each item.
Montenegro provided the first three – sun, sea and sand – but it was The Group, a club for unattached men and women aged 50+, that ensured that the trip to the beautiful Adriatic ticked all the boxes.
Around 50 people took off to their all-inclusive hotel in Budva and as the picture shows, it was a week of smiles, laughs and fun, and it included a trip to beautiful Dubrovnik in next door Croatia. It is just the most recent in The Group’s trips. Rome, Austria, Scotland, The Dolomites, Wales have all been on The Group’s agenda – and all, like all Group events, were organised by a Group member.
The Group, now in its twelfth year, has meetings in Brighton, Burgess Hill, Lewes and Horsham and a diary full of events.
Lunches, golf, cinema, galleries, theatre, walks, holidays – just about anything that people like to do and The Group’s diary is emailed to members twice every month.
