It was a very exciting day when Agincourt Contractors Ltd arrived on site at the end of March to start work on the shop and café. The site has now been cleared and all of the children’s play equipment has been dispatched to its new homes. Some has gone to our own Village School and the rest was divided between another community playground, a home education centre and to some individuals caring for children with disabilities.

We had a small delay earlier this month whilst waiting for the builder’s sub-contractor to start on the piling works – the heavy rain from a couple of weeks ago delayed them on their previous job. The good news is that they are now on site on our project and we are back at full steam ahead.  The first of the screw piles are in with the rest to be completed over the next fortnight, together with the ring beam.
