National Highways online Supplementary Consultations

Over the course of 2022 National Highways have made changes to their scheme design – including further mitigation to traffic levels through Walberton – and now present those changes and wish to gather feedback on them.

From 16th November to 16th December 2022, National Highways will be holding a Supplementary Consultation to present their revised design and seek feedback on the changes put forward.

You can take part in the consultation online from 16th November or attend one of the following events:

  • Saturday 3rd December 2022, Arundel Town Hall, Maltravers Street, Arundel, BN18 9AP, 10am to 4pm
  • Monday 5th December 2022, Fontwell Park Racecourse, Arundel Road, Fontwell, BN18 OSY, 11am to 7pm
  • Saturday 10th December 2022, Walberton Pavilion, The Street, Walberton, BN18 0PJ, 10am to 4pm

Deposit locations to view consultation documents

All consultation documents will be also available to view at the following deposit locations throughout the supplementary consultation period:

  • Arun Civic Centre, 1 Maltravers Road, Littlehampton BN17 5LF, Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm

  • Worthing Library, Richmond Road, Worthing, BN11 1HD, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm

National Highways will email people again when they have further information available.

DCO Submission

As a result of taking on feedback and making changes to the design, National Highways plan to submit their DCO application in Spring 2023 once this consultation is finished.
