Shoppers can help over 25 local (and national) charities by buying a selection of their cards as well as festive wrappings, napkins, advent calendars and gifts. National organisations including Cancer Research; Alzheimer’s Society; National Autistic Society; Parkinson’s UK and RNLI are joined by local charities, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust, Aldingbourne Trust, Hounds for Heroes and others.
The annual project is organised by Cards For Good Causes (CFGC), and over the last 6 decades, they have earned more than £100 million for participating charities. Charities have struggled to raise much needed funds over the last 18 months, so supporting them by buying Christmas cards is an easy way to help whilst getting gifts for friends and family.
Find more details or purchase cards online at www.cardsforcharity.co.uk or visit the Council House (North Street Chichester, Monday – Saturday 9.30 – 4.30). The shop will remain open until 17th December.
