Amberley Museum Mothers Day activities
Any mum visiting Amberley Museum on Mothers Day can enjoy free admission to the Museum and enjoy a fun packed day out with special activities.
Mums can get involved with various volunteer-led activities happening across the Museum including operating a manual switchboard, driving a smaller diesel locomotive and making a keepsake in the pottery, print shop or woodturners.
The Museum is home to the only traditional working print shop in the South of England, where mums can have a go at printing a keepsake, and children can have a go at printing one too. West Sussex Woodturners will also be offering the opportunity to have a go at wood turning, by creating your own wooden ornament to take home.
Mums and children can also have a go at pottery with the resident potter, who will be offering a chance to make a heart or flower. (There is an additional charge of £2 per person for this activity).
Visit the craft market with talented local craftspeople demonstrating and selling their products and treat mum to a light lunch or a Mothers Day cream tea and prosecco for two for £16.50 in the Limeburners Café.
A travel around the site on one of the narrow-gauge trains and classic buses is free and included with admission.
Tickets must be pre-booked online for this special Mothers Day event on Sunday 19th March. Make sure to book mum a complimentary admission ticket.
Where most activities are included in our admission price, there may be some small fees for some special activities, and donations are always welcome.
