More than just a charity event; it will be a tonic for all concerned

The Pink Gift Fair returns to this year’s calendar on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September from 9.30am-4pm each day in the heart of Horsham at Parkside with new energy and therapy for all.

Parkside is home to local authority’s West Sussex County Council and Horsham District Council who generous offer their modern spacious conference facilities and orangery café to raise money for the Sussex Cancer Research Laboratories with the aim of raising money to fund research into finding cures for all 200 types of cancer.

Admission is £3, which is a direct donation to the charity as is 10% of stallholder’s takings and of course the obligatory raffle. This event is so much more than just another charity fair as it unique in it’s offering of stalls and experiences.

Alongside a host of 60 retail therapy stalls comprising of jewellery, home accessories, fashion and accessories, kids collections and toys, books and stationery, food and drink, this year the wellbeing section of the fair will be hugely expanded.

Supporting the wellbeing section this year is Total Therapy Studios, a Horsham based therapy and exercise studio located in the centre of Horsham.  Total Therapy Studios are a fully integrated clinic that bridges the gap between medicine, therapy and exercise. They will offer you a chance to try yoka, pilates, talk to professionals about hypnotherapy, massage, acupuncture, running and overall mobility.

Sarah Dover-McCarthy, owner and practice director says, “We are delighted to be part of this event, held in such a worthy cause. Cancer affects so many people that we see on a daily basis, both directly and indirectly. We feel privileged to bring our unique and experienced team together for this event to offer talks, taster classes and therapies, and to be on hand to offer education and honest advice for your complete wellbeing, especially if this terrible disease has affected you. So if you would like to be involved in a session, try something that you haven’t tried before or just want to come and have a chat and a biscuit, we would love to see you”.
