Mims Davies virtual funding workshop for local charities
Mims Davies, MP for Mid Sussex, will be part in a virtual funding workshop, with People’s Postcode Lottery, for local charities, volunteer organisations, and community groups in Mid Sussex. The session will give good causes in Mid Sussex advice on how they can apply for key additional funds to make a difference in their community.
Due to the pandemic and its impact there is more needs in our communities and local charities and organisations make all the difference. The live Zoom event takes place on 22nd July at 10am.
Communities in postcodes across Britain are winning thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery. In 2021, £17 million funded 3,700 local good causes and community groups. In 2022, grassroots good causes can apply for up to £25,000 of funding from February up to and including October.
Over £123,000, raised by People’s Postcode Lottery players, has already made a difference to many small, local good causes in Mid Sussex.

Additional funds for key projects are always in demand and I am delighted to bring forward this extra opportunity to assist these brilliant organisations to continue to thrive and grow.
