Miles Japanese Maples ‘Acer palmatum: From seed to tree’

Many congratulations to Miles Hayward from Miles Japanese Maples. Miles won a silver medal at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show this year for his educational display (known as a Lindley display) about growing Acers from seed, entitled ‘Acer palmatum: From seed to tree’.

Miles (with support from his wife Ann) from Storrington has been growing Japanese maples (also referred to as Acer trees) for over twenty years but decided in 2016 to start a small ‘backyard’ nursery. They grow over fifty different cultivars, many of which are rare and unusual.

The nursery is open by appointment, so if you would like to visit, get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient time.
