Residents donate to Haywards Heath Coat Exchange for families in need

The Haywards Heath Coat Exchange is now open and the community has generously donated lots of coats in all sizes. There are a variety of coats available for men, women, babies and children as well as older teenage children.

People can collect a free coat from the Town Hall during the collection opening times from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm, or on Friday from 9am to 4pm.

“Get a free coat, with no questions asked”

A Haywards Heath Spokesman says: “Our brilliant community has responded amazingly to this campaign so if you or your family are in need of a coat to keep you warm this winter, please pop into the Town Hall in Bolto Road where you can get a free coat, with no questions asked.

“There is a wide range of coats available, including men’s, women’s, children’s and babies and even one maternity coat! A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated a coat. Residents are still welcome to drop off any donations throughout November.

“Our thanks to our wonderful residents and to Broadbridges for kindly lending us a clothes rail and Roman Originals for saving so many clothes hangers for us to use. Please if you are in need of a warm coat this winter, get in touch or come and visit the Haywards Heath Coat Exchange.”
