Hailsham Young Farmers Club raise money for Air Ambulance

Air ambulance

Over the past two years, the Hailsham YFC have raised an astonishing £4,852.01 for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. This money was donated to the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance at the 75th AGM of Hailsham YFC.

The Hailsham YFC have been raising money for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance with charity events over the past two years. These include the Hailsham YFC annual bonfire and fireworks held at Herstmonceux, Christmas carol singing, and a catwalk for a new clothing range at Ernest Doe in Ringmer.

The club chose the Air Ambulance as their latest charity because of the nature of the work that many of the members are involved in, working in remote areas that can be difficult to access. Although none of the club members are anticipating needing the Air Ambulance, all were very keen show their support for this great cause.

Every year the club chooses a charity that is close to the members hearts, that the funds raised from the annual bonfire and fireworks, and their Christmas carol singing are donated to.
