Poulenc Double Bill pairs heartbreak with comedy
Glyndebourne’s recent Poulenc Double Bill, one of the productions of its 2022 Festival season, is now available to stream on Glyndebourne Encore.
The Poulenc Double Bill of one-act operas pairs the tragic heartbreak of La Voix humaine with the riotous, surreal comedy of Les Mamelles de Tirésias. Staged in original style by director Laurent Pelly and conducted by Robin Ticciati, the production has recently been shortlisted for a UK Theatre Award for Achievement in Opera.
