Win a copy of ‘Worthing Pubs’ written by Sussex authors

The late-eighteenth-century saw the hamlet of Worthing begin to develop as a fashionable seaside resort, eventually growing to encompass its surrounding villages.
It attained town status in 1803, around which time existed the Anchor Inn, subsequently rebuilt and now called the Corner House. Worthing Pubs takes us on a fully-illustrated tour of the town’s many historical hostelries yet, also considers how its drinking culture has been most recently shaped by the emergence of the contemporary craft-beer bar and the burgeoning micro-pub scene.
