After receiving funding from Adur & Worthing Trust Creative Commissions small grants scheme. The team behind Worthing Film Club are bringing their funded project to Colonnade House, as part of Worthing Festival.

Worthing Film Club are working with Screen WoLFF to celebrate all things cinema. Featuring an interactive exhibition & film screenings that celebrate the rich history & current local filmmakers in & around Worthing.

Past: an exhibition of Worthing ‘ghost’ cinemas with carefully-curated archival footage & stills, pioneering silent films and locals’ childhood memories of Worthing’s forgotten cinemas.

Present: a look at our wonderful independent cinema history and their colourful and precarious journeys throughout the last century.

Future: a continuous showreel of short films from local filmmakers – history in the making.
