For this West Sussex Unwrapped online event, West Sussex Record Office and Screen Archive South East will be exploring the remarkable rise of Crawley New Town. As well as exploring the history of the New Town through archival photographs and documents, there will also be a series of fascinating films (some not screened in public for many years) from the Screen Archive showing life in Crawley during the 1950s and 1960s. The talk will last up to an hour, with an opportunity to ask questions via the chat box.
