Two one-act plays by Noel Coward: ‘Still Life’ and ‘Red Peppers’

West Chiltington Dramatic Society’s two one-act plays overviews

West Chiltington Dramatic Society presents ‘An Evening with Noel Coward’ consisting of two one-act plays: ‘Still Life’ and ‘Red Peppers’, on Thursday 19th May, Friday 20th May, Saturday 21st May 2022 starting at 7:30pm at West Chiltington Village Hall.

Tickets can be purchased online via www.wcds.co.uk £12 for an adult and £6 for a child (up to 18 years old)

‘Still Life’ (better known as the film ‘Brief Encounter’) is the story of a love affair between a married woman and a doctor, who meet by chance in a 1930s railway station café. The play is full of varied characters, all of whom have their own stories to tell.

‘Red Peppers’ is a comedy, revolving around George and Lily Pepper, a song and dance duo. The play takes place during the interval at the Palace Theatre in a Midland town and tells the tale of the duo’s refusal to bring their act up to date.

This is a production by WCDS, a community amateur dramatic group.
