‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ in West Chiltington Village Hall

West Chiltington Dramatic Society performs Ian Hislop and Nick Newman’s comedy, ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ at West Chiltington Village Hall on 24th, 25th and 26th November at 19:30 each evening. Ralph Wigg directs.

Synopsis: A Hollywood action movie star, whose career is faltering, accepts an invitation to play the lead in King Lear at Stratford, only to find the Stratford is not upon Avon, but a tiny Suffolk village with the local amateur dramatic group. ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ follows his rehabilitation, complicated even further by the arrival of his daughter – who doesn’t like him very much.
