This new film is an exploration of the lives and aspirations of the Windrush generation and those who came after them. Working with a group of young people, the filmmaker, Clovis Lowe, captured interviews with people of Caribbean and African heritage from all walks of life, from lawyers and dancers to politicians, social workers and entrepreneurs. ‘The result is an incredibly important piece of archival work which is touching, sobering and very often incredibly funny.’ – Phil Ross, Brixton Buzz After the film, join the director, Clovis Lowe and the producer, Marsha Lowe for a Q&A about the issues raised by the film and the challenges of producing a film with young people during Covid.
