Rules are made to be broken, so 11-year-old Jasmine is going to break them all

Event Information

There Should be Unicorns second showing

Crawley Borough Council, Crawley Town Centre BID and Creative Crawley are pleased to host these performances and work alongside Brighton Festival to bring these amazing, bright, innovative companies to the town centre for a great day of entertainment.

Rules are made to be broken, so 11-year-old Jasmine is going to break them all. And be back in time for tea.

Hip hop, dance and theatre collide in this brand-new, outdoor musical from the award-winning Middle Child, in association with Beats Bus.

Armed only with an unshakeable belief in unicorns, Jasmine takes on the bullies, villains and ideas that shape the world around her, in a superhero effort to make tomorrow better than today.

Written by Luke Barnes, with music by Beats Bus and James Frewer, this is the latest show from the company behind Edinburgh Fringe hits The Canary and the Crow and All We Ever Wanted Was Everything.

Middle Child are an award-winning company from Hull.
