The cottage style small garden has evolved into a series of island beds with narrow paths in between. There are roses, clematis, many salvias and perennials. A collection of over 100 pots, many planted with hydrangeas, but the majority are a colourful mix of annuals and tender plants. There are steps into the garden, so not suitable for wheelchair access.

15 Penlands Rise Steyning BN44 3PJ is open for the National Garden Scheme Wed 21, Wed 28 June (10.30am-5pm). Combined admission with Nightingale House £7, children free. Home-made teas at Nightingale House. Book online on the NGS website or pay on the day.
