The Byrds & The Bees Brighton Consort concert

In Brighton Consort’s continuing series of events focussing on the work of William Byrd, this concert will present several works from Byrd’s lesser-known secular choral repertoire. Paired with this will be a wider selection of music from the period, both secular and sacred, referencing nature, plants, and animals, and how these ideas intertwined with love poetry during the Renaissance.
