Denmans Garden open for The National Garden Scheme

Enjoy year-round colour, unusual plants, structure and fragrance in the gravel gardens, faux riverbeds, intimate walled garden, ponds and conservatory. Visitors will find inspiration and design ideas for gardeners of all skill levels and gardens sizes. Staff are always happy to answer questions.

Unusual plants are for sale in the plant centre, most of which are propagated on site. The gift shop has one-off garden ornaments, pots, and vintage accessories along with work by local artists and makers.

In 2022 The National Garden Scheme made donations of 3.11 million not only to some of the UK’s best loved nursing and health charities but to garden charities and community projects too. Beneficiaries include Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Support and Parkinson’s UK.
