The Arts Society on 20th century figure painter

A figure painter during the second half of the 20th century, Lucian Freud.

The lecture will look at his paintings, some of which can be visually scrutinised to appear similar to his grandfather Sigmund’s analysis of patients, as well as his relations with his models and fellow artists.
