This free private event is for veterans of the armed forces only and businesses who wish to help them. The event is organised and sponsored by Renford Marsden, a veteran advocate and founder of The Trainer Explainer®, in partnership with the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI). Like many veterans, Renford experienced employment struggles in his 50s, inspiring him to help others in similar situations. Over 70 guests, including organisations like JobOppo, Southern Railway, and Sussex Police, have confirmed their participation. The event will facilitate connections between veterans and potential employers, aiming to help veterans find meaningful employment and support. “We hope to encourage as many companies as possible to participate,” says Renford.
