Start time: 19:30 Talk by Carrie Cort from the fast growing, multi-award environmental awareness and education charity Sussex Green Living is a fast growing environmental awareness and education charity. With the help of volunteers, they run the Sussex Green Hub, the Horsham Repair Café, Sussex Green Ideas and their Youth Eco Forum. People can come and hear their aims, activities and lessons that everyone can use. Carrie Cort set up Sussex Green Living out of concern for the way humans are treating the planet. With motherhood in 2008 came concern about environmental sustainability and a desire to learn how we can live more environmentally friendly lifestyles, in harmony with nature. She has always had a passion for the countryside, animals and the natural environment. Most of her career has been spent in marketing and communications; in an effort to help create a climate for change, she decided to use her knowledge and digital skills to share ideas which anyone can adopt, saving money and the planet.
