Launch of Sussex Centre for Research on Kindness

Celebrate the launch of the new Sussex Centre for Research on Kindness: home to an interdisciplinary team of academics doing cutting-edge research on kindness. Their mission is to work with diverse community partners to explore, investigate & illuminate kindness & its impacts on people & communities.

BBC Radio 4 presenter Claudia Hammond will host a panel discussion with researchers across the University of Sussex:

• Dr Liz McDonnell will talk about kindness in the community
• Profs Robin Banerjee & Martin Spinelli will talk about kindness in schools
• PhD student/former public sector employee Nicky McCrudden (Bus School) will talk about kindness in the workplace

Claudia will also discuss her new book, “The Keys to Kindness”, which draws on the results of The Kindness Test: a global research collaboration between the University of Sussex and the BBC. The event will be followed by a book signing.
