Start time: 14:00 The garden at Parsonage Farm, Kirdford is open on Sunday 4th September, 2pm to 6pm. The garden at Parsonage Farm has been developed over 30 years with fruit theme and many unusual plants and is in surrounded by countryside. The garden is formally laid out on grand scale with long vistas. The C18 walled garden has borders in apricot, orange, scarlet and crimson. There is a topiary walk, a pleached lime allée, a tulip tree avenue, rose borders and a vegetable garden with trained fruit. Other features include a turf amphitheatre, an informal autumn shrubbery, yew cloisters and a jungle walk. Please check Road Closures for this date. Parsonage Farm is open in aid of the National Garden Scheme. The NGS have donated over £63 million to nursing and health charities. Their core beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and The Queen’s Nursing Institute.
