Start time: 08:00 Informal community breakfast meeting with a talk by Professor John Rees, retired consultant physician John Rees qualified in medicine from Cambridge University and Guy’s Hospital and worked as a consultant physician in general and respiratory medicine at Guy’s Hospital. He also had an academic role as Professor of Medical Education and Dean of Undergraduate Education in King’s College London. Since retirement from these posts, he has worked in Global Health Education mainly with universities in Sierra Leone and Somaliland. He and his wife Helen came to faith in their thirties and now attend St Nicholas Church in Sevenoaks, Kent. They both came to faith in their thirties after their young daughter was invited to Sunday School by a friend. They now attend St Nicholas Church in Sevenoaks, Kent where John is on the 09.15 congregational leadership team and leads an evening bible study group and an early morning bible and bagels ministry.
