Rob Porter, ex Police officer in Portsmouth and Bermuda will be speaking.
Our breakfasts are sponsored by Immanuel Church and provide an opportunity, open to all men, to join us for fellowship while you have breakfast (optional!) and listen to an interesting speaker. Feel free to invite friends, family members or neighbours.
This month Rob Porter will be speaking. Born in Portsmouth, he joined the local Police straight from school and after 5 years joined The Bermuda Police. There he married Anne and had 2 daughters. The youngest, Amy, had a massive seizure, a brain tumour and partial paralysis.
Shortly after Rob had a dramatic experience of The Living God. They returned to the UK where Amy was healed, and they had 2 more daughters. Rob re-joined the local police; there he saw many, meet with God and several miracles.
Rob retired early and within two weeks the family moved to New York where they joined a Ministry equipping University students for Overseas Missions. In 2000 they returned to Portsmouth, where Rob joined the local Community Wardens and Rangers Service and became a Secondary School Teacher. He helped to launch the charity Faith & Football and has travelled extensively sharing the Gospel.
