Event Information

St Giles’ churchyard is open year-round, and Graffham Festival coincides with the national Love your Burial Ground Week. Churches Count on Nature 2024 runs at the same time and focuses on the brilliant wildlife to be found in churchyards.

Visit this beautiful and respectfully-tended spot with its wild flowers and grasses and pine trees to record how many species of plants, insects and animals you can spot in and around this peaceful place of rest with its stunning views – and share your records with National Biodiversity Network at burialgrounds.nbatlas.org. The National Biodiversity Network already holds wildlife records from more than 27,000 other places all over the country – Graffham Festival is a chance to put our village on this map! A nature table will display the finds from children’s activities at the infants school.
