After Christmas racing in the Sussex National Raceday earlier in January, they are returning with a six-race card. The feature on the day is the £17k Class 3 Conditional Jockeys’ Veterans’ Handicap Chase and some National Hunt racing – open to horses aged ten or above. There is a Class 4 Handicap Hurdle worth £13k, plus a Novices’ Hurdle for stars of National Hunt racing. There is a selection of local and national drinks from bars and bean to cup coffee from the Southdown Stand, which also serves deli-style food.
