Event Information

William Byrd 400th anniversary celebration

Brighton Consort will continue their celebration of William Byrd’s 400th anniversary (Byrd’s death was in 1623) with a programme entirely devoted to the great English genius. For their next concert their special guest artist will be Hamish Dustagheer, Director of Music at St Bartholomew’s Church, Brighton, who will be playing keyboard music on the unique historical organ housed at the Church of St-Michael-in-Lewes. The concert programme will include both secular and sacred choral works, with large forces and small.

Concession Details: Half price concession tickets are available for young people (age 12-25 inclusive), full time students and those in receipt of Universal Credit (or equivalent benefits) or Pension Credit (but not state pension alone).
