Drama Workshop to the music of Encanto

Dramatis Holiday Workshops are an ideal way to keep children entertained during school breaks. Themed around popular films and musicals, they incorporate drama-based games and exercises as well as music and movement activities. The emphasis is very much on having fun, with simple song lyrics and dance routines that everyone can follow. As the week progresses, children work together to create their own devised performance which is filmed to camera on the last day (providing a nice souvenir of their holidays!)

Stage stardom is not our end game. They recognise that not all children want to be in the spotlight – but do enjoy playing at being someone, something or somewhere else.

By using drama games and exercises, they empower children’s imagination and help turn their ideas into more structured stories and characters. Rather than follow a set script, our pupils ta
