Northern Lights talk by Gerald Ponting

A winter holiday in Lapland – snow-covered countryside, frozen lakes, expeditions by snowmobile and by husky sledge, meeting reindeer and their Sami herders, exploring the fantastic artworks of the Ice Hotel. But all of this was extra to the main focus of the trip – would we see a display of the Aurora, the elusive Northern Lights?
