Fernhurst Choral Society, conducted by Tim Ravalde will perform four celebratory pieces

Fernhurst Choral Society Concert

Fernhurst Choral Society, under its Musical Director Tim Ravalde will perform four celebratory pieces in a concert entitled “A Joyful Celebration” accompanied by young soloists, organ, brass and timpani.

The concert will comprise Haydn’s Insanae et Vanae Curae, Bruckner’s Te Deum, Bach’s Ascension Oratorio and concludes with Parry’s I Was Glad, invoking memories of the Queen’s coronation 70 years ago.

The concert is at 7.30pm on Saturday 11th June 2022 at St Mary’s Church, Petworth. Ticket price is £15 with free entry for NUS cardholders and accompanied under 18s. These are available via the FCS website www.fernhurstchoralsociety.org.uk, Fernhurst Hub, or on the door.

This concert follows the recent performances of Handel’s Messiah and works by Haydn and Vivaldi at the Petersfield Musical Festival.
