Start time: 10:00 Fergus paints seaside and crowd scenes in a palette of few colours-simple and compelling to view Fergus Hare was born in 1977 and after Foundation at Camberwell, graduated from Norwich School of Art in 1999. He trained in illustration but moved into figurative and landscape painting and drawing. Fergus says: ‘I’m trying to capture character and personality through the shapes of their posture, and the way their clothes sit. I like to paint people in almost mundane settings. For the most part, the gathering of the people in the paintings are random, and the compositions are often dictated by the colours of their clothing.
