The concert explores diverse human emotions through four varying and perennial favourite masterpieces – Benjamin Britten’s The Courtly Dances from the opera Gloriana, Aaron Copland’s Quiet City, Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 7 and Edward Elgar’s Sea Pictures where Welsh Mezzo Soprano, Angharad Lyddon will be featured. Visit the market to gather all your making materials for Winter Making – the hall will filled with everything needed to make something beautiful for winter including;

• Botanical art and unique botanical makes

Positioned centrally within the hall, visitors will be able to purchase a ready-prepared wreath-making kit, watch demonstrations from some of Sussex’s best wreath makers, and then make their own wreath there and then.

Once they have created their wreath, they can explore the market to find additional ribbons, berries, dried flowers, seed heads and other beautiful botanical elements to personalize their finished piece if they wish.

Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with plenty of delicious snacks to tuck into.

There will be a selection of homemade treats prepared by the home’s head chef, including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity.
