Start time: 11:45 A family fun day with entertainment and activities to accompany seven horse races Visit Plumpton Racecourse on Sunday 18th September for Family Day. Alongside seven races, there is an entertainment programme to keep all children (who come for free when accompanied by an adult) busy. Awaiting them at the track is a fun fair, petting farm, magician, face painter, horse hoppers, inflatable slide, assault course and a toddlers play park. People can bring along their dog to the picnic enclosure only and enter one of the six competition categories. There will be a category to suit every dog with prizes up for grabs. Gates open at 11.50am ahead of the first race at 1.50pm, and the Racecourse is accessible via road or rail (Plumpton Station is adjacent to the course). The final race isn’t until 4.50pm, so you can make a day of it with the family.
