Event Date:
Start time: 19:00 Comedy returns to The Charmandean Centre on Thursday 14th November, with Jen Brister and others. For the first time, we’re excited to announce our headliner ahead of the night – Jen Brister! Currently touring the US, she’ll be back just in time to bring her “bold sketches, surreal ideas and slick banter” to Worthing, in aid of your local NHS hospitals. Described as “furiously funny” by The Guardian and “mesmerising” by The Sunday Times, Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian and writer who has been seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz. Keeping the rest covert, she’ll be joined by two fellow comedians and an MC, who’ll all be revealed on the night. Past acts at Covert Comedy have included Maisie Adam, Alasdair Beckett-King and Robert White. Don’t miss out on a night of side-splitting laughs and start your Friday feeling early. Not only will you be enjoying great comedy, but you will also be improving the lives of patients and staff in your local NHS hospitals, with all profits from the night supporting My Charity Adult: £15.00 Child: Child Age Limit: 16 plus Concession Details: Name: Rachel Hodgson Telephone: 01243 788122 ext 32542 Email: rachel.hodgson@nhs.net Website:
