Cuckmere Haven Art Exhibition evening events

The exhibition and parking are free – so is the stunning view of the Seven Sisters; dogs are welcome, and coffee, tea, and light lunches are available. Evening events are:

• 8 Sept. 6pm. Seaweed: The Breath of Life. Seaweed is extraordinarily beautiful, interesting and important. The oxygen we breathe comes from seaweed. This sustainable ocean flora is a key element in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, science, and industrial products, to say nothing of its dazzling form, a natural subject for art with exquisite colour and shape. • 15 Sept. 6pm. In her book, ‘Blue Spaces’, Catherine Kelly, author and researcher presents a summary of the research on wellbeing impacts associated with being in, or next to, blue spaces. She suggests practical ways for even more enhanced ways of engaging with water for maximum benefit. There is also a gentle call to look after our watery blue spaces, as they look after us.
