Sunwood Magic at Christmas is the third book in a series of five, for children aged 7+.

Well, let me tell you. Nestled in the heart of Blackdown is a secret wood, usually invisible to human beings. This is Sunwood, which is a project to examine animal behaviour if they are taken out of their own environment, and live in safety amongst other species. But these books are for kids, so they are based on having fun, alongside learning a bit about the animals and the environment.

So, at Sunwood, we have a collection of creatures from all around the world, all living in complete harmony. This has been enabled by the Keeper of Sunwood, a unicorn named Spectrum, and his magic. Despite having such a powerful animal in control, the adventures are based on reality, as is the (often needed) problem-solving.

The adventures include a family from Haslemere who find Sunwood, and are invited to stay a while.
