Birding for beginners on the wetland trail

Learn a little more about the birds on the nature reserve and how to get to grips with bird identification. This month Pulborough Brooks will be focusing on winter visitors – waders, ducks and hedgerow birds.

They’ll begin the session indoors with an introduction to birding and target species for the morning whilst enjoying tea, coffee & biscuits. They’ll then head out onto the wetland trail in smaller groups to watch and identify some winter wildlife.

If you’re an absolute beginner you may want to try their ‘birding for absolute beginners bird’ session first which will introduce you to the resources you’ll need to start birdwatching and help you get to grips with garden and common countryside birds.
