Start time: 18:30 Orlando Jopling plays Bach suites in St George’s Church Trotton GU31 5EN on Saturday 26th August Orlando Jopling’s Cello Pilgrimage Recitals continue at St George’s Trotton, near Petersfield. Cellist, Conductor and Opera Artistic Director, Orlando trained at the Royal School of Music and has worked with the Royal Philharmonic and English Chamber Orchestras amongst many others. Further info on his website orlandojopling.com Nearing his 125th solo Cello Recital uniquely raising funds for church restorations, on 26th August at St George’s Church, Trotton he will play Bach Suites 1, 2 & 3. The concert is in aid of the project to conserve the medieval wallpainting of the church. Tickets (cash or card) on door/in advance (contact: amandatownshend@gmail.com) are £15 to include interval glass of wine. 6.30 pm to 8 pm This promises to be a special evening in an acoustically beautiful medieval church.
